Amberley District State School, formerly known as Warrill Creek State School and Amberley State School, opened in 1861 on a sheep and cattle station. Originally with only 33 children attending, the school has grown and grown and now has upwards of 700 children attending in 2023. The school’s motto is ‘Knowledge is strength’, and operates on the ethos of ‘Literate, Numerate, Curious’.

Bellmere State School opened in 2016 as a world class education facility focusing on personalised learning for every student, using innovative teaching strategies. The facilities are state of the art, ensuring that all our students have what they need to be successful learners. Their approach is very hands on and based on building teams to work together to ensure each child reaches their potential. School Plus is very proud to be part of this team approach in partnership with the school.
Burpengary Meadows State School opened in 2007, with enrolments swelling to 705 children in 2023. The school is dedicated toe providing a ‘safe, supportive, futures-oriented environment’ and has the ethos of Respect, Believe, Strive.

Humpybong State School has a long and distinguished reputation in the Peninsula and provides co-educational state education to primary age students from Prep to Year 6.
Ithaca Creek State School opened in 1885 with 188 children. It has since grown to over 600 children in 2023.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
The Australian Government Child Care Subsidy helps families with the cost of approved child care.
The subsidy is calculated based on a number of factors, including your family’s income, the type of child care, and the hours of recognised activities you and your partner do. The CCS is paid directly to the service provider and families will pay the remaining amount after the CCS has been applied. This is often referred to as the “out of pocket” or “gap” fee.
